Outstanding advantages
Seed Preparation:
Gently file or nick the hard outer shell of each lotus seed, avoiding the inner seed.
Soak the seeds in clean, warm water to help start germination.
Change the water daily and keep the container in a warm, bright area.
Germination & Initial Care:
Seeds usually begin to swell and sprout after several days in water.
Keep the sprouts in clean water and provide plenty of sunlight as they grow.
Once roots and small leaves develop, transfer them carefully into a pot or container suitable for lotus growth.
Seedling Care & Growth:
Place the lotus container in a sunny area with several hours of direct sunlight each day.
Keep the water clean and maintain a stable water level as the seedlings continue to grow.
When several leaves and stronger roots develop, give the plant more space to support healthy growth.
Blooming & Ongoing Care:
Lotus seeds may begin to sprout in about 3–7 days when kept in warm, clean water.
As the plant grows, provide plenty of sunlight and enough space for the leaves to spread.
Remove yellow or damaged leaves regularly to help keep the plant healthy and support future blooming.
